Dating Tips from the Middle East

My love story

To keep it brief: I placed an ad in the paper and my current girlfriend answered it. From then on it has been great. Here is the ad:

Damn and all those years of doctor visits

I started a new profession ladies, buy seven get one free

Where do I buy one?

Problem with Social engineering

I was thinking about the Family Medical Leave Act the other day. Although I imagine many people might have problems with me questioning the great social policy that it is, I'll just throw out there an example of the abuse that it brings. What occurs is that employees only have so many sick days (let's say 12 in a year). Once those 12 are used up they can only take unpaid "Family and Medical Leave." To use this properly, an employee must either be significantly ill or a family member significantly ill that they need at the minimum 3 days off. What ends up happening is that they either out right say to their employer they need 3 days off or lie and profess sickness for 3 days even though they want 1 or 2 days off for whatever reason. Happens all the time in government and I imagine in the private sector as well. Liberal politicians are always abused and people will always find a way around the barriers set up to prevent abuse.

I hate Hollywood

Sorry for not posting in awhile, but that's life. Anyhow, here is something that pissed me off recently: "Ten percent of the [New 9/11] movie's first three days of grosses will go to the Flight 93 memorial." Why not 10% for the run of the film? Come on how cheap is Hollywood anyhow? Three days is nothing when this film will benefit for months from the deaths of 9/11 victims and their families. Really irks me.

Heard in DC

Dupont Circle:

20-something woman: " . . .and when she asked him if he is gay or metro."
40-something woman: "Metrosexual, hmpf, in my day we called that 'euro-trash.'"
European man: "What is 'euro-trash,' like French?"

Heard in DC

Metro, near Eastern Market:

Two teenage boys sitting next to each other in quietly. Kid #1 is intently studying a piece of paper. Finally, Kid #2 breaks the silence:

Kid #2: "Dude, she's totally your cousin."
Kid #1: "Nah. No she ain't."
Kid #2: "Dude. Totally...look. You totally hooked up with your cousin." [Draws imaginary lines on the piece of paper, which appears to be some kind of family tree.]
Kid #1: [Pause] "Yeah, well, all I'm sayin' is that I ain't never seen her at no family reunion."
Kid #2: "Yeah...whatever."

Only in NY City

Is it discrimination to suggest that black people run faster than non-black people?

I don't have a long post on this one. Just thought I might ask the question after watching the USC/Texas game. I am about the size of the Texas QB (who is black), but have no chance to run as fast as him. Taking a look at college football overall or any other sport it appears to me that black people on average run faster than almost anyone. I know there are exceptions to this rule, but I would have to guess it still should hold true if you tested my theory.

Back to my question. Even if true or not, is what I assume discrimination or racist?

What will happen first?

1. Congress balances the Federal budget.
2. O.J. finds the real killers.

I think Meatloaf is gay

So what exactly iS it that Meat Loaf (the singer, not the food) won't do for love? Because if I had a girl ready to give me some lovin' I'd do just about anything.
